Mainstream Group operates with a team of highly-experienced, specialist staff to provide information, advice and guidance (IAG) to clients, learners and employers interested in undertaking any of our learning programmes. Our Learner and Employer Engagement teams also provide advice on referrals, potential next steps and progression opportunities within the Mainstream Group and with other stakeholders.
In addition, our Learner Engagement Team (LET), follow the progress of all learners from initial engagement through to the completion of their course, providing mentoring and pastoral care where required. The LET are the point of call for learner questions, considerations and complaints should they arise. Mainstream Group ensure all learners are on the correct course through fully exploring prior attainment and relevance to their career and / or personal aspirations. Through initial assessments we review if the level of course is achievable and the content meets their needs. To give learners the opportunity to access funding we enrol in line with the ESFA / ESF funding rules and guidelines.
Our Employer Engagement team work closely with employers in the development of their training provision and staff recruitment needs. IAG is a two-way process as the provision is developed to meet business need and maximise outcomes for the learner and employer.
Stakeholder relationships include a thriving partnership with JCP. We have our own staff agency who guarantee an interview for every successful learner, whilst working closely with established employers to improve employment prospects upon qualification.
