The supervisor course is for anyone supervising all works on the road, including excavation, backfill, reinstatement and signing and guarding. A streetworks supervisor plans, monitors and supervises the works and the operatives. The supervisor does not undertake any physical works.

S1– Monitoring, signing, lighting and guarding
S2– Monitoring excavation in the highway
S3 – Monitoring reinstatement & compaction of backfill layer
S4– Monitoring reinstatement of sub and road base in non bituminous material
S5– Monitoring reinstatement of bituminous materials
S6– Monitoring reinstatement of concrete slabs (subject to centre)
S7– Monitoring reinstatement of modular surfaces and concrete footways

We offer accreditation with SQA, learners will also receive their SWQR Card.

1-6 trainees = 5 days
