Class 1 Driver

Sittingbourne, Kent

£18.35 - £36.70 per hour + holiday pay

Mainstream Fleet Services are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client based in Sittingbourne for Class 1 Night drivers.

The role will entail:

• General Haulage of recycled waste and recycled paper. • Delivering to Hubs in various locations. • The shifts are on average 12 hours long. • Full time or part time hours available. • Mainly a driving role including opening/ closing curtains and strapping of the load.

A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Full Class 1 licence (Minimum 1 year’s recent driving experience). • Valid Digital Tachograph and CPC card. • No more than 6 points or have the following endorsement codes showing (DD or DR). • Compliant to all rules and regulations within LGV driving. • Good roadcraft/ Geographical knowledge.

Shifts Available:

• Monday to Friday starting at 18:00 hours. (Night shifts are available on Saturdays/ Sundays during our clients peak trading)

Pay Rates:

• £18.35 (Monday to Friday). • £27.52 (Saturday) • £36.70 (Sunday + Bank Holiday)

The above rates are all PAYE and holiday accrual will be in addition and pay is weekly.

All candidates are required to pass our clients driving assessment +2 shifts paid training prior to commencing this role.
