Novice & Refresher
This course is for those who have not been formally trained, have little to no experience or required to refresh their certification in using an Overhead Crane.

On Completion, the trainee will be expected to understand banic lift plans, carry out pre-checks, start, stop procedures, traversing forwards and in reverse using all gear ratios and all ranges, operate all controls safely and sympathetically, prepare the crane to carry out normal work, carry out normal work tasks safely and effectively and understand basic signalling requirement and load swings.

Please note, it is strongly recommended that candidates responsible for regular slinging operations should attend a recognised slinger/signaller course in addition to this.

We offer accreditation with NPORS and ITSSAR.

Novices:
1 trainee = 3 days
2 trainees = 4 days
3 trainees = 5 days

Refresher & Experienced Operator:
1-4 trainees = 1 day
