Mainstream Fleet Services are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Night Transport Operator to join their fast moving transport office based within Swale.
The shift pattern for this role will be Wednesday to Saturday with the working hours being 19:00 hours - 07:00 hours
The role entails:
- Communicating with drivers throughout shift from pre-brief through to de-brief
- Uploading information on to companies transport management system
- Pre-planning and resourcing next day’s schedule
- Tracking vehicles and liaising with fleet department for service requirements
- General administration duties
- Taking incoming calls from customers internal and external
- Liaising with other departments in the business
- Using bespoke transport systems as well as MS Excel/Word/Outlook
A successful candidate will be:
- A team player
- Confident dealing with both administration and drivers
- Previous transport office experience or within a similar role would be preferred
The pay for this role is £12.00 per hour + holiday pay and there will be the opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidate. The rate of pay will be reviewed after 12 weeks
Full time salary is £30,000
