Mainstream Fleet Services are seeking X3 Machine Operators to work for our Client based in Sittingbourne, Kent.

Role Responsibilities:

Goods in/ out:

- Ensuring that production is maintained within the scheduled timeframe
- Checking off materials against manifest and recording as directed
- Checking returns and processing as directed.
- Continually observing the machinery whilst operating and communicating issues

Other duties:

- General housekeeping – ensuring the environment is kept clean and tidy
- Reporting damaged/ defected stock
- Inventory count and control as required
- Cleaning/ Maintaining machinery during downtime

Conduct requirements:

- Confident communicator
- Be a reliable and trustworthy member of the team
- Be positive and proactive in everything you do
- Strong attention to detail

Personal Training Requirements:

- Holding a Counterbalance Forklift certificate would be an advantage
- Physically fit as heavy lifting is involved
- A background working within machine operating/ production or a similar role is advantageous
- Ability to work both inside/ outside
- Good IT knowledge
- Good level of literacy/ numeracy

Other Information:

- Hours of work are on a rota between days & nights based on 12 hour shifts with one Saturday working every 3 weeks (Overtime is available)
- Start Date: Immediate
- Pay Rate: Days - £12.19 per hour/ Nights - £14.79 per hour + holiday pay
- The client will interview in the first instance and if successful the candidate will be offered ongoing work and has the opportunity of permanent employment with the client after a probationary period. Once full time with the client the salary starts at £30,000 P.A.
- Full PPE and training is provided
