Mainstream have routes available for Employers to access funding to enable them to up skill their workforce.
Enabling progression in the Workplace training programme provides Match-funded training courses designed to boost the skills of employees and help employers increase productivity.
We are delivering this project in the SELEP region, the Southeast England Local Enterprise Partnership area, which covers Essex, Kent and East Sussex.
Mainstream is now working with employers and individuals to find out where skills are lacking. We’re then helping them to develop and put in place the training plans that will give their workforces the skills they need.
Who can apply?
SMEs within the South East Local Enterprise Partnership area who meet the following criteria: fewer than 250 employees; or a balance of less than 43 million Euros; or an annual turnover of less than 50 million Euros)
Business-needs analysis
In the first step in making workplaces successful, we work with employers to discover what they need to develop their workforce and grow their business.
Induction and Skills Assessment
This starts with an ‘Information, Advice and Guidance’ session to find out what both the employer and employee, who might be someone facing redundancy, want the outcome to be. Then an individual learner plan is worked out, including courses that will help the individual in their career progression.
