Fire Wardens and Fire Marshal Training Level 2
This course is aimed at anyone who requires a course as a Fire Warden or a Fire Marshal.
Those involved in the management of fire safety in any workplace. This includes managers, supervisors, team leaders, fire wardens (marshals) and staff working in an area where there is a potential risk of fire.
The course covers the latest fire safety regulations and the roles and duties of employees and their responsibilities on Fire Safety.
The course is designed to meet and comply with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. It covers how fires are started, methods of controlling fire spread, evacuating the building, fire briefings and risk assessing.
Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)
Ideal for businesses that do not require a fully trained first aider for their workplace.
Course Objective: To equip the learner with the basic skills to deal with medical emergencies
that may occur in the work place.
Course Content: - First aid regulations
Unconscious casualties Basic Life Support including CPR
One Rescuer CPR
Compression only CPR
Introduction to AED dealing with cardiac problems
Sudden cardiac arrest
Drowning dealing with Primary first aid problems
Burns and Scalds
Seizures and epilepsy
Designed for: Trainee(s) that have not been formally trained, have experience in manual
handling or refreshing existing certification.
Course Objective: The trainee will be expected to have the knowledge and ability of demonstrating and identifying requirements of the manual handling operations regulations 1992, the requirements of the health and safety
executive guidance on the regulations L23, the procedures and purpose of risk assessment, the manual handling activities involving risk and various degrees of risk, carrying out effective and appropriate risk assessments, recording in a clear and concise format the assessment outcomes, developing appropriate solutions and safe systems and methods to reduce risk to minimum acceptable levels.
